I finally finished all three in the series. I can't wait for the next one to come out. Its awesome back story for all the gamers. Everyone should read them!

At the end of First Strike, John along with Linda (who went through intensive regenerative surgery and burn treatment), Will, Fred and Sergeant Johnson are all headed to Earth. So at least they're together and alive. Kelly was sort of "kidnapped" by Dr. Halsey and is in parts unknown. It was left for us to assume they were both still alive because the good doctor has some ulterior plan that is suppose to be for the greater good and save everyone…. Who knows? ^_^
