[MASTER DAMAGE]

I get to p-rods challenge, but when he tells me to grind around this ridge thing and do the tricks at the same time it automatically make me start over for no reason. I make it all the way to the gap, all the way arouund the ridge and it says start over. If anyone knows what im doing wrong then please tell me because im really starting to hate this game due to some of its confusing instructions.
