Kick the snot out of him. Or for a more advanced look:- Fly up to him and repeatedly hit him till you get the cut scene/minigame where you bash the button indicated to beat him in a heat vision battle, this will make him land follow him land yourself(you get better combos) and pummel him, eventually he flys off again so rinse lather repeat until he drops.
