All is not lost. | no joke?..i mean it would make sense. the detail is still there even when downscaled. so when u compare 1080(i) and 1080(p) is there almost the same amount of digital information? the way i see it the only big difference is in the way the data is transmitted in interlaced form compared to progressive. but is the Dada/information still pretty much the same? either way u send it, i know that u pretty much send around twice the amount of data through progressive scan compared to interlaced just cuz interlaced does every (other) line of pixels compared to doing every line of pixels on the whole screen all at ones with progressive...(FPS depending on the signal) am I some where in the ball park?..
