No. English was one of my best subjects. Please excuse my Lexical ambiguity, It's not through lack of thought that implies my incapacity to form coherent sentances, but rather a lack of effort. Logical fallacies of amphiboly and equivocation also rely on the use of ambiguous words and phrases.
I have been known 'in the past' to blame my linguistic misgivings on a rhetoric upbringing, but now readily admit that sometimes my procrastination's aid the deferment or avoidance of my perfections.
I do hope my oratory speech has quelled your passion for structural semantics.

Do continue your pragmatic questioning, if anything it will help you bridge the explanatory gap between sentence meaning and speaker's meaning as context influences the interpretation without breaking conversational maxims.
