Meanwhile my 360 is in the dashboard for 30 minutes and is blowing hot air out the back. Also your right on the 360 growing up. When it first came out, everyone be honest with yourselves, it wasnt that great. Ok games, ok hardware, and online was bare bones. Now look at it. Great freakin games, great hardware, and an online service that will be the basis for just about every online service to come. The 360 still stands as my most played console, then the ps3, then the wii. But dont get me wrong, the Ps3 is one hell of a machine and worth every penny. Yes I said worth every penny. Gaming console, blu-ray player, wireless controller, wifi, and 60 bg hard drive, for 600 is worth it. Crap, I payed almost that the first month I had my 360. Gaming console, dvd player, wireless controller, 400. Plus my wireless adapter, 100 bucks, plus online service, 50 bucks. Wow, a little off track. Great console just needs time like the 360 did. Absolutely no dissapointments for me. |
Great post!!! The PS3 will be a great machine - it just needs some time. Sony hasn't failed yet when delivering a console. Some of their statements might be off the wall - but overall the console(s) usually never disappoint. One thing's for sure - if the PS2 is any indication then the PS3 should have one hell of a run.
I haven't picked one up yet because my PS2 (from Launch Day 1!!!) is still running great and there are still so many games we have yet to play (thank god for GameFly). Although I have seen the 60GB @ Target once or twice which was very tempting... but I can wait...
I was luckily enough to walk into a GameStop the day after Christmas and score a Wii (UPS had just delivered a shipment).
Of course the 360 (for the moment) is still my primary gaming console!
