The games and longevity are my primary worry with the Wii. As I understand it Wii Sports is good, but how long can you play that really. I have also read Zelda is very good as well. But personally I am not a huge Zelda fan so given the choice between that and firing up my 360 for some RB6V or COD3, I think my Wii would just sit there. Same thing goes for all the virtual console games they are putting out. I love the idea and I am glad they are doing it. But very few if any actually interest me.

So, when I think about it the only reasons I would be getting a Wii would be for the novelty of it and Wii Sports, give something for the kids to play when they visit (Saints Row and GOW are not great for a 5 &7 year old), and to just have one. So does that justify the price tag? Hard to say I guess.

Take care~

*I guess you also have to factor in the "Wii Danger" aspect in regards to my TV. While I don't see myself having any problems, I would see the Wii getting more play time with a lot of "non-gamers" that might visit. I would hate to see my Mother-in-law break my TV because Wii Bowling got out of hand!
