Posts: 841 | I think it all boils down to patience.. While I would be happier if things were top notch ready to go straight out of the box. Console launches seldom go that way. I also think everyone is a bit spoiled by the 360 so they are expecting a lot more from the word go. Games, Online play, dashboard/home. etc all take time and MS had the same type of growing pains that Sony is currently going through.
Sony had (and still does have) one of the best selling consoles in the PS2. They are not about to let the Next-Gen world pass them by without a solid offering. So for now it is way... way... to soon to even think the PS3 is dead or even close to it. We all should have a better idea in a year.
For me it is like having two kids, one 20 years old and one 2. Then try and say something is wrong with the 2 year old because the 20 year old already has and job and doesn't need diapers.
So for me, not dead or even close. It could still happen, but it is just to soon to tell.
