i know that i'm going off topic but i just thought i'd throw it in here, i'd love to see a SWAT team game with similar tactics to vegas but with more teams/members and no "terrorist" threat. i'd like each level to be a different (more realistic than RB6) domestic scenario that real SWAT teams deal with day by day such as bank robberies turned into hostage situations, drug busts, serving high risk warrants, difficult shootout standoffs (e.g. the hollywood bank robbery where larry philips and the foreign dude wore head to toe body armour and attacked police with armour piercing AK-47 rounds) etc

i dunno about you guys but i think that would make a really great game

Without going into the ending, probably going to deal with some of the same factions of the terrorist organization (honestly, I like Tom Clancy storylines, but they don't keep me too enthralled to remember enemy names or organizations). If I go into why I said that, I'll be giving away the ending.

I don't think the next RB6 will have to due with Vegas, and if Tom Clancy has any mercy he (and UBISoft) will stay the hell out of Mexico. First it was war with Korea, now I can't get out of Mexico with any Tom Clancy game. Even RB6 Vegas starts out in Mexico. Getting old, I don't care how analytically sound the idea of a situation south of the border could be.

PC had a SWAT series, but I don't know much about it. Games are about drama these days, and I'm afraid a large team wouldn't give the emotional ride of the smaller teams. FPS are hard to get the player really involved with other characters, even Halo has a short list of real characters. Gears of War did a pretty good job of keeping the characters involved, but I never REALLY felt attached. I'd personally like the idea though. Work an LAPD worst nightmare scenario. You have to pick your team and how you want to work the situation out. Like old school Rainbow Six on PC used to be.
