Posts: 6 | Broken power source Hey guys, well I registered here because I have a question about the 360 power source.
Well I've had my 360 for some months now, but about 2 months ago my stupid cousin plugged in the 360 in a 220V power switch. I know that the 360 only supports 110V.
Right when he plugged it in the little light from the power source that's normally orange turned to purple for a second and then it made a weird noise as if it broke and then my 360 never worked again.
Well my question is:
Is there any way that I can fix the power source? or am I just gonna have to buy a new one? If there's any way to fix it please tell me, maybe you could fix the transformer or something.
Or in the worst case, did my 360 also brake?
By the way I can't call Microsoft because I bought my 360 in the US and I'm now living in Brazil so the warranty is voided.
Please help with this as I'm not sure what to do and buying a new power source in Brazil is really expensive.
Any help is appreciated! |
