Posts: 5,094 | Such a strategy would be the antithesis of business. I agree this may have been the case in the days gone by but I thought the question pertained to the new warranty. Since the announcement and implementation of the extended 3 year warranty MS can no longer afford to repeatedly take additional revenue loss in conjunction with the 1.5 billion they have already served themselves. They need to produce a profit in their gaming division for the first time ever. If one valid criticism could be handed down to MS it would be their inability to make money via gaming. This has been addressed by all corporate heads which leads me to believe MS is no longer playing games (no pun intended). |
