Even more freaky is the fact that MS already promised to drop the xbox360's price when the ps3 gets released. Now, all of a sudden Sony has to deal with a console thats already expected to be a lot more expensive then the xbox360 vs the current price. But when MS then cuts the price by maybe 50$ to 249/349$. That means Sony needs to do a big cut in it's hardware price to keep up.
So you end up a fight with then First Generation Xbox360 titles ( and to be honest, i'm amazed at how many titles have been anounced already just for this year alone ). Then you have the second generation of xbox360 titles in Q2 of 2006. With maybe a price drop on some of the first generation titles.
This again Sony needs to fight off with games that are expected to be more expensive becouse of the media used ( blue ray ) or take a PR hit, and release them as DVD-9 to keep price up to xbox360's second generation price's.
It doesent mather how i spin it, and turn it, it has a very bad senario written all over it for Sony.
I dont expect Nintendo to be the big thing. While the available info of the console looks nice, i think Nintendo will keep its tradition & focus more on the kids/Teens, where as MS & Sony focus more on the Teens/Adults.
I'm still amazed on how many people still think the E3 PS3 trailers are real ingame footage, and dident pick up that it wasent ingame ( or people are just closing there ears/eyes to this ).
