Posts: 1,875 | I can see people buying 2 consoles, but not 360 and PS3, but rather adding the Rev. to their collection. But, as so aptly put, the 360 and PS3 will be similar for the most part, but the second generation of MS games will impress buyers more than the 1st generation PS3 buyers. Plus, imagine if Bill Gates was correct (and I am still under the assumption that he is), and Halo 3 does come out with the launch of PS3. Even better yet, the week before. Couple that with the price drops and the impressive games available; gentlemen, things do look dire for Sony.
Now I do not want Sony to die out, I feel they are needed to keep the competition healthy and innovative. But to have them lose the massive market share wouldn't hurt. I actually prefer MS as an underdog status, makes them try harder.
For Nintendo, I see some success for them as well. The innovative controller will revamp an interest in their system, and perhaps even steal sales from the other consoles. But they are still behind with regards to being in the major party of consoles. No HD support was a big no-no in my book.
Anyway, good discussion. I like the analysis thus far. |
