Well obviously....nothing better than just playing it instead of watching all the cutscenes. If you're looking to know the story before starting Halo 3 it tells you everything that is going on very well. If you want every single minute detail, read the dozens of books if you want. But if you want the big picture, watch the vids, it shows and explains all of the cutscenes in detail.
