I don't think it matters at all whether we like soccer or not, because the reasons why FIFA is superior have been spelled out in this thread...better graphics and the official teams.

If Konami made a good product, they could afford to buy the rights to the official teams. It's obvious FIFA runs circles around PES, and I don't have to be a soccer hooligan to know it.
