Proud Wii owner here, and I second the nomination.

Madden '08 (lagged at first--don't know if that was ever fixed, but wisely used EA Nation so it didn't have friend codes), FIFA '08, Pokeman somethingorother. MP3C uses some sort of points trading online to unlock something or other. I think elebits had some sort of online component as well.
Coming soon (November): Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 (32 player vs, also EA nation and FCless) and BWii (with online Coop)--both sans voicechat--and about
20 or so other unreleased titles like endless ocean, SSBB, and mario kart.
For me, it's not a question of scarcity. It's that the system is screwy. Even once voicechat is supported, all the best games will force you to punch in 12 and 16 digit codes, swap blood samples, and submit to psychological profiling to prove you know and can trust the other person before speaking to them.

It doesn't matter how many great games a system like that uses--it's still going to suck. Not every publisher is big enough to substitute their own online system like EA can.

the wii has 512mb built in memory and it has enough to hold at about 15 game saves and 5 virtual console games so far. it actually stores alot. now the wii is obsolete now where will they be in 5 years when people start to realize?

One firmware update to add usb drive support could eliminate any storage problems. Hopefully they come to their senses before WiiWare starts pumping out original titles--just recently the soon to retire Kaplan was explaining how gamers prefer juggling titles through SD swapping and redownloading rather having enough drive space to store them in the first place. Even though it's an easy fix, they seem to be resisting it.
