I have both, I have a Samsung Syncmaster 226BW and a Samsung CRT HDTV. I play my 360 on the Syncmaster most of the time it has a 2ms refresh rate is 720p widescreen setup. And they have switches on monitors to switch from analog and digital source, this being VGA-analog,DVI-digital.[i] purchased my monitor for under 300.00 and bought a logitech 5.1 X-540 for 60.00 from Sam's Club. My system rocks the sound system has great Bass and the picture is awesome. People have actually copied my setup. 3 of my friends have similar setup's now. All have the sound system but they have different monitors. My Syncmaster comes with 4yr warranty from Samsung. If you don't have HDTV setup this is the cheap way to go. You will be able to use PC and 360. I use a HDMI to DVI for 360. ANd use my Dell to VGA on the monitor. Go to monoprice.com to get all your cables, they even have the 360 VGA cable for 9.00 that;s 30.00 cheaper then retail. I get all my stuff there and never have had any probs.
