Posts: 109 | I am a Halo fan. I didn't have an XBOX at launch but my two friends did and they both bought Halo. I bought a Cube (I have a family and love Mario and Zelda so sue me) at it's launch and enjoyed Rogue Squadron and Wave Race. But then I went to a LAN party they had around Christmas and I was blown away! I got schooled at Halo (the Duke controller didn't help) but I thought I have to get this! So for my birthday in March I picked up an XBOX and Ralisport Challenge (no Halo you ask?). I borrowed my friends game to play the single player just to make sure. I was sold. My Wife and I played the co-op and had a blast. Halo LAN parties were a staple for the next 2 years. I have read the books and have enjoyed the Halo lore. For anybody that thinks Halo 2 is too short, they didn't play on Heroic or Legendary. Bungie made the Easy and Normal levels of Halo 2 much more accesible since they knew it would be a hit and they didn't want to pound new players into the dirt. There should have been a disclaimer on the box that says experienced Halo 1 players need to start on Heroic or Legendary. If they did that they would not be saying the game is short, they would be screaming in frustration in just the Hangers on the 1st Level!
I can't wait for Halo 3.
