Eventually we will really see the effects of Co2 emissions (I do not believe we are causing Global warming, but...) and the worlds governments will quickly ban/limit Co2 emissions. Then there will be a revolt, leading to "the revolution" causing a mass apocalypse. Then the rebels will then Hi-Jack nuclear weapons and destroy the earth. And like God said, there will be fire.
