that could be a turn off to some people. to much freedom is not always a good thing in games; it can get overwhelming. i kind of like games that confine me to a set course of action; not always linear, but not so huge you forget what you are doing and have 100 open quests. like KOTOR, you could choose what order to do stuff, but you couldn't get lost in the game. does that make sense?
