The 360 wired controller mod only works with a Linux distro, not in PS3 games. Unless you have a need for a Linux install to do "PC-type" things, the mod won't do you any good in playing PS3 games. The other hacks I found involve gutting a PS3 controller and 360 wired controller and installing the PS3 parts into the 360 wired controller's shell. For what that's worth.
