people who collect things don't always use said things for the the thing they were designed for. hehe, hope that made sense.
plus cars tend to get beat up if you use them, no matter how careful you try to be with it.
if i shelled out 100k or close to it (i'd rather buy a house i think), i would be tempted not to use the car, because i wouldn't want to get it ruined, or dinged, or anything else that happens to cars. of course i would WANT to drive it, but where? the local race track? just think how you feel when you find the first scratch or ding on your new car, when you only spent 15k-20k on it.
you can always drive it to the auto show to put on display.
