Posts: 256 | TJ FTW even though I doubt he'd be on it. Most likely I think the cover will be a running back although there are a few QBs who may be better choices. It's also highly possible that a receiver would make it although I don't believe there ever has been a receiver on the cover. Anyway here are my top 5 candidates.
1. Adrian Peterson - Since LT turned down the cover last year he seems like the best choice. He's young and he's coming off arguably the greatest performance by a rookie RB ever.
2. Brian Westbrook - Year in and year out he puts up great numbers and last year was no different.
3. Randy Moss - Record breaking season although he would probably want too much money
4. Tom Brady - Broke a lot of records and is pictured everywhere from magazines to TV. Plus a lot of argument was flying around last year whether he was the greatest QB ever.
5. Eli Manning - If they choose to go the QB route who would be a better choice than the QB who lead the super bowl upset of the undefeated Patriots. Although I really don't like him at all and definately don't think he deserved the super bowl MVP. |
