The problem with this, is that the person would need to know that their account was stolen and report it to Microsoft BEFORE the hacker downloads the account. Then, if the person tries to download it back onto their own console, they might get banned accidentally. Also, if an account is stolen you can count on the information changing, so if the offender were banned, it might be difficult to get your account back. | i'm pretty sure that Microsoft tracks each 360 according to it's serial number, how else are they able to ban specific 360's? also it can't be too difficult to track which gamertag account numbers are logging in from a specific console. and it would not be a auto-ban it would need a short review process, So if you have a gamertag thats tied to an address in New York and has credit card info attached that is also tied to New York which is the same address where the actual owner is registered then they all of a sudden call up customer service and the service rep sees that the gamertag is suddenly transferred to texas..... he can initiate that closer review of the suspect console in texas which is harboring the stolen gamertag.... mabye a review of the activity log of that 360 in texas would show that it has had several stolen tags on it and so the Console Ban would be warranted....
