Posts: 920 | Dog Day Afternoon - it was decent but just not as good as a lot of people say just because Pacino is the lead
Heat - i liked this movie. but again, some people want to praise it as elite just because De Niro and Pacino are in it. i thought the story/plot line could have used more filling
Godfather - Peter Griffin is right. it insists upon itself.
Raging Bull - i just didn't get this. is it a movie? is it a documentary? what's happening? it felt like watching random clips from the History Channel without the context or dramatization thrown in.
i swear i love De Niro and Pacino as much as anyone. and i thought they were great in each of these movies, but each of these films just felt like they were missing something when everyone wants to give each 5 stars. |
