don't all speakers basically work the same? take a signal, change it to an electrical impulse, and the speaker somehow vibrates to reproduce the sound? speakers are pretty simple...a cone, magnet, and something. did you check out any websites, like sound and vision or home theater magazines (might be mags, but they might have useful articles at least)? or links to brand named speakers, like b&w?
