Posts: 811 | You're adapter is unable to obtain an Ip from your Router/Gateway - you need to check the following in you Router menu. This is usually accessed by going to 192.168.0.1 on your browser but can also be 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.254 -check you router instructions. Verify:
Wireless is enabled
Universal plug-and-play is enabled
DHCP is enabled
DHCP pool is specified (a range such as 192.168.0.2-192.168.0.99)
Ensure X360 is set for dynamic IP (automatic)
You should also check to see if your wireless signal is strong enough in the room your xbox is located - this can be checked with a laptop (if you don't have one, find a mate with one)
Finally - if you have any devices using 2.4 gigahertz in your house - turn them off. This includes video senders and some cordless phones.
