Posts: 2,527 | yeah, good luck with getting anything from USPS. We shipped ceramic mugs in our gift packs one christmas, and knowing most people that work for the USPS are frickin idiots, we insured the packages, because the mugs would get busted.
Several packages showed up with open mugs. So we called to collect on the insurance (which cost extra). But like most insurance, there was so much red tape, we never got satisfaction. The USPS required the recipient to return the busted mug to us in the packaging, a copy of the invoice from the manufacturer of the mug to show its value, and some other stupid sh**.
So the moral is, don't use USPS if you can help it. Oh, and rates are going up on the may 12th. woot. |
