I always thought that something set in Ancient Egypt would be cool, But it would have to be true to fact without any cartoony/juvenile content.

Or Possibly a game based in the Amazon jungle about 2000 years ago kinda like the movie Apocalypto mabye?

What really kills RPGs for me is the CARTOON or CHILDISH content. I loved the combat system in Lost Odyssey and visually it's STUNNING. but then you have maing character who are 7 years old and somehow kicking as much butt as the 30 year old characters? and it's all boo hoo, haha, I want my mommy crap which is a major downer in games when primarily what I want is to be able to settle into the game world and play the game on a serious level.
