So I went out to eat dinner tonight and there was a 20 minute wait. Well the restaurant is connected to the mall so I walked around to kill some time. When I passed Gamestop I decided to stop in. I asked, and to my surprise they had a few of the 80gb MGS4 bundles in stock as well as a Wii. Picked up the bundle, have yet to play much, just set up the system and redeemed my free Pain download. Now the PS3 only came with a standard A/V cable (FTL!!) so I can only view it in 480. My question is, if I buy a Component A/V cable (such as the one that came with 360) will I be able to set the display to 1080i with widescreen aspect. I can on my 360 and want to make sure the PS3 is the same.
