Posts: 242 | you know, the rrod is tricky. from personal experience not only with my own consoles, but from friends of mine, it's almost as if certain games trigger it, or the outlet that the 360 is plugged into. an example: my first 360 i had hooked up in my living room for about a month, it worked fine until i rearranged the equipment and used a different outlet, and i got the rrod. so i moved in to anther outlet and it worked fine for a year until the rrod came back for real and stopped working completely.
a friend of mine had his 360 for almost 2 years and put in a brand new copy of dead rising and he got the rrod. any other game worked fine. so he tried it again and it ended up getting stuck inside the 360.
those were just some weird cases i thought i would share with you.
