Posts: 1,352 | Hmm, if the video goes out, Call Microsoft up and ask "wtf?" Sounds like a hardware problem for sure, but all 360's have a certain warranty, I don't know how long it is. probably like a few months to maybe a year. So they might be punk bitches and not want to do anything about it. If that's the case just induce the RRoD and they'll fix it.
The exception to that rule is your warranty is extended 3 years from the original purchase date(or manufacturers date w/e) if and only if it has the 3 red rings/RRoD. So there's no limit to how many times you can send it in for repair during those 3 extended years of coverage. I had my old Xbox360 since launch. So when it got the last RRoD last year it wasn't covered anymore. So I ended up buying a new one that runs like a champ at the moment.
