like i have said more time to play all i can say is the magic wand tool
(key W) or the lasso tool (Key L) is all i can say try magic wand on the pic then go to select inverse and work from there,the lasso tool is the best for me but i have a track ball not a mouse.and with lasso tool right shift is + right Alt it - zoom a lot hope that helps u have to give it time and have a go

(how much time do u spend on them) at moust 1 h if i have all the bit worked out all the lasso work is the killer.
