Maybe next year they will come out with the HDdvd drive and then there will be a possibility of those graphics.

what do you mean by "not HD at launch" you do realize you dont have to have an HDDVD drive to have HD games right? Heck the Xbox now has just a couple games which run in HD (HD is just a resolution) the games are running in 720p which is now also an accepted HD format along with 1080i
the games will already be running in that resolution on Xbox 360 as all games MUST run at the minimum 720p per MS's standards for developers and thus be HD, it has nothing to do with the HD DVD drives and it having hd. 2 totally different things as an HD DVD drive would just be fore playing movies in "true hd" as it would play the discs that hold more GB than the average DVD. Nothing more as that drive is only essential to playing discs with a larger capacity and does nothing directly to make better graphics. They can simply put more data on a single disc than normal. Sorry just dont want disinformation spreading people will totally mix that up

On topic yeah games at first will look a bit better than current games (some may look way better we'll have to see) but as the months and definitely first year go by games will get better and better as developers find ways to get more juice out of each system. Just like everyone said compare first year games from any system with those coming out now. Totally leaps and bounds above
