Well after much research, comparing, and debating... I finally bought a new HDTV!
The model I chose is a
50" SONY Grand WEGA™ 3LCD Rear Projection HDTV.
The picture is just breathtaking... (especially after calibrating it properly with DVE 2003)!
The 360 games really come alive
now.
I know I posted earlier that I was going to wait to buy a new HDTV, especially with
the Twins on the way, but the deal was just
too good to pass up. After my EPP discount
and the sale price, it was
under $2,000. Plus it's 18 months no payments/no interest.
My wife thought that there was nothing wrong with the old HDTV (Sony 32" Wega CRT).
But... I'm happy to say that after owning it for almost a week she has come around. Now she won't watch TV or play games on anything but the new TV.
