Basically, remember the Xbox ports of a few months ago? Well look at the PC games they came from and you'll have a pretty good idea of what the Revs graphics will look like, good, but nothing spectaculer.
Also, Ubi pretty much allways release pre rendered stuff before launch. | You promise us based on what information exactly? Game Informer was able to PLAY the title, so naturally if these screenshots were touched up, they'd let us know seeing as they've already had their hands on it. Plus a top Ubisoft employee who posts on the IGN boards (and has had his identity verified) also claims the game will look like this. Maybe even better, if you're asking me.
We don't even know whether those Nintendo specs were real. They were unveiled by an anonymous source to IGN. Nintendo hasn't confirmed nor denied them, but Satoru Iwata and Shigeru Miyamoto did say that what's on paper didn't matter, "the games will look just as visually impressive as the PS3 and 360's".
This isn't prerendered, this is actual game footage. Quote: |
Also, Ubisoft says you will be able to use a freaking sword in the game!
| Yes, you will be able to use a sword (and not just any sword) from the very beginning and take it out at any time during the game. You can also stealth up behind enemies and one-hit-kill them with it. |
