I agree that we don't know how real those specs are... and hopefully they'll end up better. Nonetheless, the Rev should be a very capable machine. However, it would make since that Nintendo would claim that "what's on paper doesn't matter"... since on paper the Rev probably won't even compare to the 360/PS3. But the statement that the Rev's games "will look just as impressive as the PS3's & 360's" is not only laughable (based on what we know about the 3 machines), but its hot air that is worthy of Sony's Ken Kutargi!

I have no doubt that the Rev's games will look good, maybe even great... but compared to the hardware in the Big N's competitors, let's be realistic.

You never know though, there are still a few secrets Nintendo haven't announced yet. I genuinely believe displacement mapping could be one of them. This would simply entail that Nintendo's system may not look so great on paper but the games will still be visually impressive due to the rendering techniques this will open up.

It honestly depends what you want to believe. If Ken Kutaragi is to be believed, the PS3 will be in 4D, be roughly 20-30 times more powerful than the PS2 and will run at 120 FPS. I don't know about you but i'm sceptical to say the least. You have to bear in mind that Red Steel has been in development for less than a year and looks almost as good (for the mostpart) as Perfect Dark Zero, a title which has been in development for many years. I'm not a graphics whore but I get the distinct impression that Nintendo may be telling the truth this time and that the Revolution will have similar visuals to its competition. After all, the GC was by no means the most powerful console this generation but it sure did benchmark some of the most beautiful titles.
