If the difficulty is set down to minimum, then you can get grand champion at any level. the mobs just take 2-3 more hits to kill, for example at level 4 it was 2 hit kills all the way up to the redguard fights, after that it took a little extra, the grand champion was around 6-7 hits. because the diffulty is lower they don't do much damage at all.
