I read through my previous posts, it seems "dickhead" wasn't on my agenda. Sorry if you read into them too much. Nevertheless, if you want to be humiliated, I am here to facilitate that yearning.
Obviously reading comprehension is not your forté, otherwise, you would have realized a couple of things;
1. That "suped up" is not a derogatory term, which is really odd that you haven't picked up on that yet. Here is a link for educational purposes. Please see the verb usage under definition #2:
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=suped
True, it is not a real word as of yet (but since
D'oh made it into the dictionary...), but it is still a part of daily vocabulary and more importantly, a part of this discussion. Also note the correct spelling for this non-existent word, thankyouverymuch.
2. No where have I bashed Nintendo. I've proffered my opinion that it *could* be the next best thing, but at this point, I retain my judgement until I am able to experience it in action myself. I don't blindly support it. I guess that is a defining principle between a fan and a fanboy, wouldn't you agree...?
Let's look at your points...
#1 The jury is still out on that statement.
#2 Wasn't meant to insult you, it was more of an educational tool. But if learning is insultive to you, then I apologize. And I need to rethink getting into debates with people of your calibre.
On #3, this seems to be that semantics battle I have refered to ample times already, your understanding of the quasi-word "suped" is different than the general understanding. Refer back to the link provided. Again, you are diluting the PS3 and 360 and their total functionality.
Your #4 point has some validity, but the Wiimote could also be the next big Class Action suit for carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, and chronic muscle fatigue. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. But I do agree with you for the most part.
I think your #5 was actually made into an argument by you, since your concept of "suped" is askew from the rest of the participants. I do know the difference between an argument and a discussion -- that comes easy for someone married (little jokey for you). Again, the disagreeing part is you and your perception of the word "suped". I've been supportive of Nintendo, just not avidly supportive like others. I am hoping that you will agree that we cannot know for certain the prowess that the Wiimote will offer.
#6 has already been addressed.
Now then, for the last time, and I hope you understand it, I'll delineate my stance on the Wii.
The Wii has a lot of potential to revolutionize the gaming industry, but it is too early to tell at this point. The console is no more than a suped up Xbox or GC considering the specs we have to date on this machine. The controller, on the other hand, is an innovative approach to gaming which hopes to successfully merge the Powerglove with the Duckhunt gun. We'll just have to
wait and see whether it does change gaming as we know it.
Oh, and you wanted me to spell check your post. Here you go!
Ugg. Work on your grammar, that was too tedious. I could have revamped sentence structure to improve your argument, but decided against it. In truth, at least you are cohesive and intelligent enough to get your point across.
Anyway, we should let this rest as you so aptly put in your last sentence.
