Posts: 1,875 | The only thing we have on Halo 3 is the TIME magazine article with Bill Gates stating that it will be released at the same time as the PS3. We have nothing, absolutely nothing beyond that. Now, when the richest man in the world says something like that, my default reaction is "It'll be done, he said so." But Bungie hasn't confirmed nor even mentioned a Halo 3.
Now for captian obvious: Halo 3 is inevitable. If you played the SP campaign, the cliff-hanger ending is a definite indicator of a sequel. No doubt about it. But at this rate, I would prefer that Bungie keep everything quite until maybe 3-6 months before launch (which is kinda tough to do as the release date is dependent upon Sony). I say that because the hype fiesta we went through the last 2 years with Halo 2. I would rather they just say, "Okay, Halo 3 is '#' months from launch, this is what you can expect because NOTHING is going to be cut from final production!" Then let it live up to all the hype.
I guess we'll see, though. |
