Posts: 2,073  | wow, that cant be good for them. im so glad the 360 doesnt need to worry about backwards compatibility anymore, cuz all the games i like from xbox 1 are supported. BRING ON THE NEXT GEN GAMES!!!!

Posts: 1,875 | Meh, minor flaw. It's a next gen console, meant for next gen games. I got rid of all my Xbox games save for Halo 2 for my 360. Granted, the PS3 is more expensive, and console owners may have to play older games on it for a while. Still, not too big of a deal... yet. |

Posts: 2,000 | One would figure it would be 100% (or at least as close as possible to it like the PS2 was with PS1 games) since the PS3 has PS2 hardware in it so there is no need for emulation. Not to mention that Sony was saying that it would be (another lie from them). |

Posts: 422 | Sony never said it would be 100% backwards compatible. and just because they have PS2 hardware built in doesnt mean all games will work. because when sony released the slimmer PS2, some PS2 games didnt work for the smaller system.
