Posts: 2,001 | Honestly, there is no room in the market for 4 consoles. The part in the article that has me suspicious that Apple is at least considering it is when they were asked about it, they gave the all popular "no comment". If one of the big 3 were to drop out of the console industry (MS, Nintendo, Sony), then I can see Apple getting in the market. Would they be successful? who knows but to Apple's credit, when the PS1 was announced back in 93 people (including people from Sony) really believed that the PS1 was going to go the way of the 3DO. We all know how that turned out. Bottom line there would have to be one factor for Apple to get in the industry and they would control thier systems fate. |
