Question about system link and routers

Ok i'm having a halo 2 lan party on monday and i'm wondering how/if i can set up my router to act as a hub(because i don't have a hub) in order to connect 4 xboxs. here is the brand and model number Linksys BEFSR41. any help would be much appreciated

Hey, rubicks, that should work just fine. I would see if you could find a second Xbox and test it before monday, but it should work perfectly fine.

i have tried it once and it didn't work. i think it has something to do with how my router is configured. so if you or anybody else knows how to configure it to work it would be much apreciated. my router model number and brand is on first post

Well, i have my xbox hooked up with my router, and i get connection to my pc... everything works just fine, i havent tried to connect with a 2nd xbox though.. but it really should be no problem at all

ok...i pm g4 and he told me that it is probly my firmware so i'll update that and see what happens

hey derek man when jb tried to do systm link with almost the same router just diff
# it didnt work so..... when we have lan partys we use a Linksys nr041

it works now i tested it just a little bit ago at a friends. i think it was the firmware that helped it.
