| I've been trying to get one since they came out back in November, and still no luck, haven't even seen the box. I haven't heard one bad thing about them, besides looking like a dork playing it, and everyone I know that has played/owned one, loves the thing.

| Gamestop has some bundles in stock if you hurry! http://www.gamestop.com/gs/wii/wii_signup.asp
Surprisingly, many of my more hardcore gamer friends dislike the Wii. But my family sure likes it. I have enjoyed it thus far - but it doesn't take long for many of the games to get very tedious. Zelda is the only game I've really enjoyed playing regularly.

| The games and longevity are my primary worry with the Wii. As I understand it Wii Sports is good, but how long can you play that really. I have also read Zelda is very good as well. But personally I am not a huge Zelda fan so given the choice between that and firing up my 360 for some RB6V or COD3, I think my Wii would just sit there. Same thing goes for all the virtual console games they are putting out. I love the idea and I am glad they are doing it. But very few if any actually interest me.
So, when I think about it the only reasons I would be getting a Wii would be for the novelty of it and Wii Sports, give something for the kids to play when they visit (Saints Row and GOW are not great for a 5 &7 year old), and to just have one. So does that justify the price tag? Hard to say I guess.
Take care~
*I guess you also have to factor in the "Wii Danger" aspect in regards to my TV. While I don't see myself having any problems, I would see the Wii getting more play time with a lot of "non-gamers" that might visit. I would hate to see my Mother-in-law break my TV because Wii Bowling got out of hand!

| I have played the Wii and it is a great innovative console. I'm waiting until the Wii comes back in stock more permanetly around my area than they are now. Fishing on Twilight Princess is a challenge in its own if you havn't fished in your life but it is easily picked up. In some ways i do prefer the Wii over the 360, which include innovation and access to over 1,000 games before you get to the Wii games. Just like what Peter Moore said when the PS3 price was announced "Gamers are more likely to get a Wii and/or a 360 over a PS3"

| I got a 360 which I love, but the Wii is awesome as well. It is for when I don't want to be that serious while gaming.
Loved and finished Zelda! Looking forward to Paper Mario, Metroid, and of course Mario.
What I like the most is the chance to play those Gamecube games that I never got to play.
The VC rocks as well.
It is just different from the 360

I have never owned a GameCube - so we've already bought a few Cube games. In fact we've bought more Cube games than Wii games!
Luckily there are finally some good Wii games on the horizon (i.e. SSX Blur, Tiger Woods, Mario Galaxy, etc.).
