actually i heard it off a friend, maybe he read it from a pamphlet, either way it's a fact that the PS3 has more modern componants as it's a newer console so it makes sense that it'll be better when the lazy dumbass developers use it's capabilities. and then i'll buy one

More modern components? The only huge difference between the two is the processor. Other than that they are both fairly cutting edge ... strictly console speaking of course.

Meh, I have the money set aside and I've been waiting and waiting for a Dual Shock 3 SKU. The longer I wait the more I lean toward buying a new couch rather than buying a game console that has exactly 2 games I want to play.

DS3 cures AIDS while the PS3 cures cancer.

Its the principle of the fact that rumble should have been in the controller to begin with. I'm not paying a premium to import one from Japan, and I'm not going to have a crappy Sixaxis laying around for a guest to get stuck with it. They have been out since November FFS. Just tell me when you're going to package it with the system and we'll go from there.

Although I talk about other things quite frequently, when the conversation is about PS3, the controller is what is holding me back. If I'm going to around $450 for the system only to play Warhawk, Drake's Fortune and the promise of maybe some good games by Xmas, I damn well better get what I want.
