| PS3 Media Streaming ok here's the deal, every time i search for video files on my computer from my ps3 it lets me navigate through all of my folders which i've allowed through the WMP11 sharing feature. but when i do that a notification pops up on my laptop saying "rundll32 has stopped working" and then no videos will play on my PS3. ever video title has a * next to them (i assume this shows that they are unplayable)
any solutions?

| i found the ps3 streaming was pretty piss poor on my buddies machine, and once it did get working it wouldnt play half of the divx he had. Makes sense though that the MS console would integrate and work better with windows and wmp.
I think he had to download some third party software called tversity to get it working in the end so that might be worth a go, was a pain in the butt though. My suggestion is to use your 360, u still have that right. Plays everything flawlessly

360 FTW!
but yeah, i still have it but the streaming hasn't worked since that divx update so i can't use that either. any solution to either problem i'd take, but i'd rather it was for the ps3 because like charles said, it's much quieter

Also, even though it may be slightly louder, the Elite streams **** quietly as well. |
