PS3 is all region free yeah?

Like NorthAmerica DualShock3 pads and games will work on my PS3 yeah?

The only thing region locked is blu-ray yeah?

if the player is region free, what good would it do to keep the dics locked to certain regions?
so the ps3 will play any bd disc?
