if you could get or are getting a secound console wich one would you get the revolution or PS3?

I think this should go under next gen consoles, but i'll answer it anyways
Reolution
*Cheaper
*the controller is badd ***
*download all time classics, such as FF
*metroid prime
*Mario
*all the add ons for the controller
*endless possibilities

Well nobody knows, thats why its revolutionary, that controller will help improve all the games, just point and shoot, put an add on, and use it as a racing wheel, put another add on, and you will have a pistol. Endless possibilities

Thats what the rev offers, something new besides graphics and hardware. The controller, games, and a new Nintendo.

Ok dude, you are going to get a ps3 just because the graphics? there are a lot of things you have to consider when choosing a console

1. Price
2. Games
3. Hardware
4. design
5. future add ons
6. online service

All the games announce up to this moments dont attract me, the design makes me cry, the controller....well dont even go there, ps2 online service was lame (why dont they make ppl pay for it), pushing dev away. I wish they come up with new games.

yeah just choosing "graphics" might be your reason...but its shallow. Good games have never been based off of just graphics. I mean what game have you ever played that was just all graphics...but played like ****? And yet most games today...yesterday...and in the future will be based off of innovation. With little things added to a sports title...new animations, moves, strategy, options....or to that spy game, or FPS. Yes graphics are nice and pretty, but basing your choice entirely on that seems just abit ignorrant. Thus I would pick the Revolution, it has decent power, Nintendo is still capable of some great gaming experiences, the price is bound to be affordable, finally online with classics included, oh and a controller that liturally could make every game innovative. Just my 2 cents.....

I am getting a revolution that thing looks super unique. I have a PS2 now but the only reason I got it is because I like Final Fantasy but now that Square Enix is with microsoft I aint planning on getting a PS3.

The PS3 will be out before then, maybe the end of 2006.

Listen to this guy. He knows what hes talkin about. I bet if you threw the ps3 controler (because you got mad at a brand new game that sucked) it would come back to you like a boomarang. They are depending on sequels to games just because the one of the first couple was good (cough....metal gear solid.....cough). The online service(sigh). No offense xpitbull, but why would someone have to pay for an online service as crappy as sonys. I bet it didnt take any money to make it.

If Sony started charging subscriptions like Microsoft, then it would be much better than the PS2 online service. You normally get what you pay for.

Revolution, plain and simple. Really, I don't hate the PS3 ALLL that much, but the 360 already has me covered for everything the PS3 does, plus the 360's games just appeal to me more. So, since Revolution is different than either of the other consoles, I'll pick it up and be covered on all fronts.
