Rainbow Six: Lockdown Live Demo Comments

The latest U.K. Official Xbox Mag comes with a playable Live demo of Rainbow Six Lockdown. Thought I'd start a thread about this demo to get peoples opinions about it. I'll be picking my mag up today, so I'll let you know what I think later tonight/tomorrow, but for those who have played it let us know what you think and what the improvememnts are plus anything you've seen in the game that you don't like.

Ive had the demo since last saturday and im loving it so far. It's a much easier game to play than any of the other rainbow six titles as it's much more fast paced. I also really like the addition of the P.E.C Mode as it's brilliant for creating a player and building up your skills. Overall it's a brilliant game to play.

yeah i picked up the demo but i don't like how it takes you back to the main demo screen when the game has fineshed

I picked the demo up yesterday and haven't had chance to play it yet. With Lost on tonight I won't get to try it until Thursday night. If anyone on here fancies a blast on Thursday night let me know and I'll send you a FR and we'll have a few games on it

o.k. Jas, I'll send you a FR tonight. Hopefully Real Maximo and Father Campfire will be there as well. How many does the demo game hold, and did you notice any lag in the games you've played. I found on RS: BA I could only host 8 before the dreaded lag monster turned up.

O.K we'll make it about 8pm tomorrow night, I'll be on as soon as possible but it may not be until 8:15pm. I'll see if one or two guys from PXL want a blast as well

The maximum number of players that the demo can hold is 12 players so if we can get a fair few on there tomorrow night then that would be great. At the moment on the demo im finding it difficult to kill ppl but im sure ill improve before the full game is released. There is bit of lag on the demo but it's not that bad.

I personally haven't played this demo myself, but I am hearing from everybody that it's horrible, and makes a great escape from the original gameplay. It doesn't look like Ubisoft and Red Storm can change the game and bring it back to its original goodness by September, but maybe with the combined effort of all the fans they can make some much needed changes to this game.

I'm going to judge this game on the final game and not a demo.

Forza demo was crap and look how that game turned out.

Agreed. But still don't hesitate to let Ubisoft know how you like it. I'll will buy this game based on reviews and/or a rental.

I just found the car handling a bit off or could of been my demo(from Mechassualt 2).
