Hello everyone,
I was wondering, will the xBox 360 be able to surf the internet? That would be an awsome feature!

Although I wouldn't rule it out in the future... This is going to more like a complete home entertainment centre, as opposed to a stand alone console

it could serve as a router for the computer......so you can surf through the 360......

Why do people want to search online with consoles anyways? I fail to understand this.

Gaming consoles should be about 1 thing: GAMING

PC's should be about surfing the web, downloading porn, posting on forums and doing your homework.

If people really want to surf the web on the gaming console, what's next on the list? Search for porn? Maybe doing your homework? I can see it now:

Mom: Hey Billy, make sure your homework is finished.

Billy: But mom, I'm in the middle of fighting the bandit king on Oblivion!

Mom: We didn't get you an Xbox 360 so you could play video games! Now start writing your essays!

Billy: *groan* Yes, mother.

Seriously. Lets keep the gaming consoles for games... PLEASE! :dong:

Not necessarily so.

You could surf the net with SEGA's Dreamcast and you can also surf the net with the PS2 and the PSP right now.

However I totally agree that consoles are for gaming and pc's are for everything else & gaming :)

You could? Oh I was at a pawn shop yesterday and I saw a dreamcast keyboard for 5$. And I saw a PS1 there for 25$! What a rip off.

yeah 360= for gaming. DLing is good though for new content in games though.

Hey dont talk like that about the PS3....LOL, i know a lot of people buying it to mop the floor and to mown the yard. It can also be used as a beer cooler
